She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Shippensburg University in 2002 and graduated from Widener University School of Law in 2005. At Widener, Ms. Leininger was active in the Trial Advocacy Honor Society and participated in the school's civil law clinic.

Ms. Leininger holds professional memberships in the Pennsylvania and Dauphin County Bar Associations, where she is active in the Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
